Police still searching for man who tried to rob Burger King at drive-through window

WICHITA — Police are still looking for a man who tried to rob a Burger King through its drive-through window Saturday night.

The man approached the window of the restaurant at 4222 E. Harry at about 9:15 p.m. on Saturday with what the window clerk said appeared to be a gun wrapped in a T-shirt, Lt. Doug Nolte said.

"This is a robbery," he said. "Give me your money."

But she didn't comply. She closed the drive-through window, and he left in a sedan. The clerk said he was a white man between the ages of 20 and 30. He was 5-feet-8, weighed about 200 pounds and has blond hair.
