WICHITA — A Derby man was sentenced to 21 months in prison for defrauding the Kansas Medicaid Program.
The Kansas Attorney General's Office said today that Francisco Montes, Jr., 34, was ordered to pay $5,325.60 in restitution after pleading guilty in Sedgwick County District Court to two counts of unlawful acts relating to the Medicaid program and one count of making a false claim to the program
Prosecutors said Montes signed fraudulent timesheets for home-based services in exchange for a portion of the Medicaid reimbursement.
