It’ll be another windy late June day in the Wichita area, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 80s.
Forecasters say winds will be out of the northeast in the upper teens to mid-20s, with gusts topping 35 miles an hour. Overnight lows will be in the low 60s, and Tuesday should again be sunny with highs in the upper 80s.
Winds should ease quite a bit, however. They’ll be out of the northeast again, but only about 10 miles an hour.
A heat wave then settles in over the Wichita area, forecasters say, with 100s expected for the rest of the week and into the holiday weekend.
