Authorities are looking for a man who held up the Verus Bank in downtown El Dorado this afternoon.
El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren said a man wearing a surgical mask entered the bank at 640 N. Main about 2:15 p.m. and demanded money.
The robber claimed to be armed, Boren said, but no weapon was seen. He said the robber left on foot with a small amount of cash.
The El Dorado Police Department, Butler County Sheriff's Office, Augusta Police Department and FBI are investigating.
