A semi truck blew over in west Wichita tonight, as severe thunderstorms moved through the city.
There were no injuries from truck that was blown over near K-96 and Ridge Road. The National Weather Service was tracking a strong line of thunderstorms stretching from downtown Wichita to Caldwell. Thunderstorms stretched to the south into Oklahoma.
The storms were capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 70 mph and hail up to golf ball size, the weather service reported. Emergency dispatchers received reports of flooded streets and downed power lines throughout the city.
Westar Energy reported more than 3,900 customers without power in Sedgwick County just after 6:30 p.m.

The storms passed out of the Wichita area just after 7 p.m., the National Weather Service reported, moving to the northeast.
