WICHITA — United Way Tornado Relief Fund will serve as the central collection point for monetary contributions to help victims of the tornadoes in Reading in eastern Kansas and Joplin, Mo.
United Way of the Plains will administer the fund, and 100 percent of the money collected will go to disaster recovery assistance, the agency said.
Donors may designate their gift to assist either Reading or Joplin. Checks should be made payable to United Way Tornado Relief and sent to United Way of the Plains, 245 N. Water, Wichita, KS 67202.
