CHESTERFIELD, Mo. | Police in Chesterfield are trying to find the truck that spilled chicken parts on Interstate 64, a spill that created a bit of a nuisance and a lot of stink.
The spill Tuesday night forced the shutdown of the busy interstate for several hours as crews worked to clean up the smelly mess.
Chesterfield Police Lt. Steve Lewis says the only description of the truck is that it may have the word "American" on it.
Authorities describe the smell as like that of rotten meat. They believe the truck driver was unaware of the spill.
