TOPEKA — Attorney General Steve Six will officially announce his candidacy for the office during five stops across Kansas on Thursday and Friday.
Six, 42, will make four stops on Thursday, including one at 2:30 p.m. at Wichita North High School. He will make an additional stop Friday in Garden City.
Six was a district judge in Douglas County before being appointed attorney general in January 2008 by former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. He replaced Paul Morrison, who was forced out of office by a sex scandal.
