Light south winds will shift to the north-northwest, climbing into double digits. Overnight lows will dip into the low 20s as snow moves into the region, forecasters say.
The snow will continue through Wednesday morning in the Wichita area. Forecasters are calling for 4 to 6 inches in the metropolitan area, with 3 to 5 inches in southeast Kansas. Strong north winds will accompany the snow, yielding wind chills of -10 to -15.
