WICHITA — A woman found a man in her home early today, he ran out and officers arrested a suspect, police said.
The incident occurred about 1 a.m. in the 200 block of North Volutsia, police Lt. Doug Nolte said. The intruder pried open a boarded-up window. When the woman, in her 50s, confronted the man, he ran outside.
He was described as wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt.
Police responding to the burglary report found a man in his early 20s hiding down the block from the home and arrested him, Nolte said.
