Missouri sex slave case takes some strange twists

A Missouri sex-slave case has gotten more bizarre with claims of a murder-for-hire plot and the torture-slaying of two people over a drug debt.

Five men are accused of torturing, mutilating and sexually abusing a young woman in a southwest Missouri trailer over a number of years.

One of the men has pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge and will testify against the others. In his plea agreement he accuses Edward Bagley Jr. of bragging about killing two people.

Bradley Cook was moved from a Leavenworth, Kan., prison to one in Missouri after a federal prosecutor accused him of trying to hire a hit man to kill her and the sex slave victim.

Neither Bagley nor Cook has been charged with those additional crimes, which their attorneys call unfounded.
