A man has been hospitalized after being struck by a train in Derby this morning, authorities said.
The victim was hit by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train at about 5 a.m. at K-15 and 63rd Street South, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis for treatment.
He is in fair condition this afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
