WICHITA — Wichita-area students who are 12 or older and looking for something to do during spring break, March 21-25, have an opportunity to donate their time to local nonprofits.
The United Way of the Plains has begun sign-up for its 18th annual Youth Days of Caring, which allows students to choose from among 37 projects at 28 nonprofits.
Projects include sorting clothing and other donated items, painting, distributing food boxes, preparing a garden area and participating in activities with children with disabilities, the agency said.
