Wichita can expect sunny skies but brisk north winds today, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the low 50s, with northeast winds blowing steadily in the mid-teens and gusting to more than 20 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will slide into the upper 30s, with a few more clouds moving into the region. Thursday should see those clouds gradually move out, forecasters say, with highs in the low 60s. Winds will shift back around to the south, gusting at times to more than 25 miles an hour.
