Man killed in Sunday traffic collision identified

WICHITA — Police have identified the man killed in a traffic collision Sunday morning in southeast Wichita as 68-year-old Arlow Goosen of Hillsboro.

Goosen was a passenger in a car his wife was driving east on Harry at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday when witnesses said she ran a red light at George Washington Boulevard and collided with a vehicle coming north into the intersection, Capt. Max Tenbrook said.

Goosen is the fifth person killed in a traffic accident so far this year in Wichita, authorities said.
