Wichita is in the running for a hunger relief grant from Walmart.
The company will award a $1 million grant to the community with the most support on the social media site Facebook. The next five communities with the highest support will receive $100,000 each to help fight hunger.
As of Monday evening, Wichita was ranked sixth with 7,337 supporters.
It's behind the fifth ranked city, San Antonio, which had more than 13,000 supporters.
Charleston, S.C., was ranked seventh with about 6,200 supporters.
