EL DORADO — Numana, Inc., a local charitable organization, is hosting an event Wednesday in which the public is invited to help package more than 200,000 meals for the starving.
The meals will be sent to families in Haiti.
"It's a great opportunity for people to bring their families out, especially in this season of giving," said Darrel Herde, event coordinator for Numana.
The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of El Dorado and Rotary International District 5690. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the El Dorado Civic Center.
