WICHITA — A lone gunman robbed the Conway Bank branch near Central and Greenwich Road this afternoon, authorities said.
The man walked into the branch at 11122 E. Central at 2:17 p.m. and demanded money, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. He was carrying a small gray handgun.
Money — including a dye pack — was placed in a small, opaque trash bag. The suspect left the area on foot.
He is described as a white man between 25 and 27 years old, 5-feet-11 with a thin build. He was wearing a hood over his face, a black stocking cap, black wool gloves, a black hoodie, blue jeans and black and red Nike Shox.
He also had blond hair, a goatee and wore black sunglasses, witnesses told authorities.
