WICHITA - Less than 24 hours after another fatal motorcycle crash, a 23-year-old man died Saturday morning in southwest Wichita.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. Saturday on MacArthur at I-235. Police sergeant Troy Nedbalek told KFDI, a news partner, that a motorcycle was going west when it collided with a pickup that was turning from the southbound exit ramp from I-235. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle , and emergency workers pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators have not released his name.
Nedbalek said speed may have been a factor in the crash, but traffic investigators are still looking into the cause. Traffic was blocked on MacArthur for several hours.
