KC police find gator in car at McDonald's

Kansas City police made an interesting discovery Friday night when they pulled over a motorist in the McDonald’s parking lot at Meyer Boulevard and Troost Avenue.

A dispatcher says the officers found an alligator in the back of the vehicle. It was about 3 feet long, including the tail.

Dispatch called Kansas City animal control at about 10:30 p.m., and the animal was taken to an undisclosed location. No word on whether the driver was issued a ticket.
