KU inks two football players from KC area

Kansas coach Turner Gill announced Friday that two players from his upcoming 2011 recruiting class have signed their letters of intent and will enroll early in January – Blue Valley West offensive lineman Dylan Admire and Blue Springs running back Darrian Miller.

Admire has been ranked as the second-best lineman in the state and the sixth-ranked player in the state by Rivals.com. Nationally, he is listed as the No. 27 guard.

Miller, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back, was named the Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior in 2009 after rushing for 2,798 yards and scoring 37 touchdowns. This past season Miller ran for 2,226 yards and 30 touchdowns. He posted six 200-yard games.

Miller is ranked as the No. 23 running back in the nation by Rivals.com.
