Robbers take cash and prescription pills

Wichita police are investigating a residential robbery that left a victim with minor injuries.

Police were called to the 300 block of South St. Clair shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday after a couple in their 50s reported that their house had been broken into.

Four men believed to be in their mid-20s forced their way into the house and took cash from a wallet and a bottle of prescription medication, said Sgt. Steven Hiser, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

The victims are a 51-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman.

Hiser said that one of the victims received a minor injury but refused medical treatment.
