KU business dean to step down in June

William Fuerst will step down as dean of the University of Kansas' business school in June, the school announced today.

He will remain on the faculty. He will have served as dean for 11 years, the second-longest tenure of a KU business dean.

KU will start a nationwide search this fall to find Fuerst's successor.

Fuerst was named dean in June 2000 after serving as associate dean of Texas A&M University's business school.
