Summer isn’t going quietly in the Wichita area. Highs today should soar into the mid-90s under sunny skies, with gusty winds reaching 30 miles an hour, forecasters say.
Those gusty winds will continue tonight, when lows will bottom out in the upper 60s, and Tuesday’s highs should top 90 again. There’s a slight chance of showers on Tuesday night, and the last day of summer on Wednesday should see highs in the 90s again.
