WICHITA — He may have robbed a pizza place, but he managed to do it with some distinction.
The clerk at the Papa Murphy's at 2110 N. Maize Road told police a man entered the pizza store at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday, indicated he had a gun in his pocket and told him "This is a robbery."
The clerk opened the cash register and stepped back, and the robber "gracefully" removed three bills from the cash drawer before leaving, police reported.
The suspect is an unknown white man in his 20s to early 30s, the clerk told police. He is about 5-feet-10 and 160 pounds. He wore a green Adidas ball cap, a green T-shirt, tan cargo shorts and white tennis shoes.
