WICHITA — The candidates for Kansas attorney general will participate in a forum sponsored by the Wichita Crime Commission next week.
Steve Six, the current attorney general and the Democratic candidate, Republican Derek Schmidt and Libertarian Dennis Hawver are scheduled to participate.
The candidates will make opening and closing statements and take questions from Crime Commission members and their guests. Paul Longhofer will be the event's moderator.
The forum will take place Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Scotch and Sirloin Restaurant, 5325 E. Kellogg Drive. The forum will conclude at 1 p.m.
