TOPEKA | University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little is scheduled to give a status report to the Board of Regents on the university's athletics department.
Gray-Little planned to address ongoing investigations and the search for a new athletics director during the regents' meeting Thursday in Topeka.
Kansas is searching for a new athletics director after the sudden retirement Sept. 7 of Lew Perkins, who was scheduled to retire in 2011.
In addition, two former athletics department employees have pleaded guilty to federal charges in a $1 million ticket scalping scam.
Gray-Little has told the regents previously she was seeking changes in the department, including adding outside representation to an advisory committee to provide better oversight.
