Bus driver convicted of indecent liberties with 13-year-old

WICHITA — A part-time bus driver for the Urban League of Wichita faces 25 years to life in prison next month, after being convicted this week of two sex offenses against a 13-year-old girl.

A jury on Tuesday foundAnthony L. Taylor, 44, guilty of two counts of aggravated indecent liberties.

The teenager testified that she had been a passenger on Taylor's bus in the fall of last year, when he took her to an auto repair shop and had sexual relations with her.

Jurors found Taylor not guilty of rape, but he faces life for the other two counts under Kansas' Jessica's Law.

Judge Eric Yost set sentencing for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 30.
