Brownback to address business group

WICHITA — U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback, who is running for governor, will address the Wichita Independent Business Association luncheon today.

The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. at the Wichita Area Association of Realtors Conference Center, 170 W. Dewey.

Brownback, a Republican, won last Tuesday's primary for governor, gathering more than 80 percent of the vote. He will meet Democrat Tom Holland in November's general election.

At today's luncheon, he is expected to discuss current issues in Washington, D.C., including healthcare reform.
