Two men charged in Friday's Legacy Bank robbery

WICHITA — Two Wichita men have been charged in federal court with robbing the Legacy Bank branch on North Woodlawn last Friday.

Carlis D. Rogers, 25, and Jacques D. Dubose, 41, are charged with one count of bank robbery and one count of brandishing firearms during a bank robbery, federal authorities said.

Prosecutors allege that Rogers and Dubose robbed Legacy Bank at 2055 N. Woodlawn on Friday, brandishing firearms during the robbery.

If convicted, they face a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000 on the bank robbery charge and not less than seven years or more than life on the firearms charge.

A third suspect in the bank robbery has not yet been apprehended, according to the FBI.
