WICHITA — Sedgwick County commissioners offered mostly high praise today for Jon Rolph and Visioneering Wichita during their weekly meeting.
Rolph was in front of commissioners requesting funding of $50,000 for Visioneering Wichita's 2010 budget. Rolph, executive vice president of Sasnak Management, is chairman of Visioneering Wichita.
At least one vote came with some reservation.
"I have voted in the past against some of the funding," Sedgwick County Commissioner Kelly Parks said after the meeting.

"But in some of the issues that have arisen lately, I have met with them one-on-one and with Jon Rolph and come to an understanding.
"I don't agree with them 100 percent on some of the things they are doing with taxpayer money, but I didn't want to throw the baby out with the water. I voted for continuity more than anything else."
