GIRARD | A man who was mowing at a southeast Kansas state park was killed after the mower struck him while he tried to free it from mud.
The Crawford County sheriff's department says 62-year-old Donald D. Lamb of Hepler was found dead Tuesday evening at Crawford State Park.
The sheriff's office says a mower driven by Lamb became stuck in mud. Lamb apparently got off the mower to try and free it when the machine moved forward, pinning him.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
