WICHITA — Wichita Independent Neighborhoods will conduct its annual Neighborhood University program Saturday at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 525 W. Douglas.
The event will run from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
City Council member Janet Miller will deliver the welcoming address and Deputy Police Chief Nelson Mosely will be the keynote speaker. His topic will be "Safe and Secure Neighborhoods."
After lunch, breakout sessions on a number of topics will be held, including how to engage city resources and how to conduct neighborhood meetings.
