WICHITA — They met at a party earlier that evening, but before the sun had come up Saturday, one of them was dead — and the other is in jail facing a homicide charge, authorities said today.

Boston Sicard, 20, was found at the corner of Central and Ridge Road just after 4 a.m. Saturday, bleeding from multiple stab wounds, Wichita police Lt. Ken Landwehr said.

He was taken to Wesley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:24 a.m. Saturday.

A blood trail led back to an apartment complex at 734 N. Country Acres, where residents said the victim had gotten into an argument with a woman.

The woman returned to the complex later Saturday morning, where she was questioned by officers and then arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, Landwehr said.

The argument was about another woman not present at the time of the stabbing, Landwehr said.

This is the 14th homicide of the year in Wichita, he said.
