Driving on Kansas 10 in Johnson County could be cumbersome for the next couple of weeks because of bridge repairs.
Starting today at 9 a.m., the eastbound lanes of K-10 into the heart of Johnson County will be down to one lane from Woodland Drive to Ridgeview Road so a bridge spanning railroad tracks can be repaired.
This section of K-10, which carries about 53,000 vehicles a day, is on the Olathe/Lenexa border.
Motorists will be squeezed into an 11-foot-wide lane while the work is under way. The speed limit also will be restricted to 45 mph around the clock until the project is finished in early October.
