TOPEKA | Topeka police got an unusual assist when they were chasing a teenager thought to be a runaway.
When police approached the juvenile Monday, he took off running. But he didn't get far, after falling into a pothole.
WIBW reports that officers caught up with the teen, and called for an ambulance because it appeared he might be injured.
But the suspected runaway refused medical treatment and was taken into custody.
