ONAGA, Kan. | A Union Pacific Railroad coal train derailed in northeast Kansas, but no injuries or hazardous spills were reported.
The train derailed early Thursday three miles west of Onaga in northern Pottawatomie County.
Pottawatomie County Emergency Management Director Chris Trudo tells KMAN that 13 or more cars on the train derailed. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
