WICHITA — A 44-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to abduct a 15-year-old girl while she was walking home Wednesday night.
Police said the girl was walking home from a friend's house at about 7 p.m. when the man began talking to her from his Chevy Blazer in the 900 block of North St. Paul.
She said he circled the block a couple of times, and at one point stopped and tried to pull her inside his vehicle.
When she told him "I'm 15," he reportedly said, "You're too young for me," and drove away. She called her father at home to report what happened, and he called 911.
