Two men hurt in KC shooting

Two men were injured in a shooting in Kansas City late Tuesday night.

One of the victims was in critical condition and the second in stable condition, police said.

The shooting happened outside a home near East 25th Street and Myrtle Avenue around 11:50 p.m., according to Kansas City Police Sgt. Jonathan Rivers.

Detectives were receiving conflicting stories Tuesday night from the many witnesses who were outside at the time.

Rivers said police do know that there was a fight first and then shots were fired.
