WICHITA — A man who woke up to find a robber trying to steal his flat-screen television fired two shots at the intruder early this morning, police said.
The 22-year-old man said he discovered the intruder at about 1:15 a.m. in the living room of his home in the 1300 block of South Bleckley. The robber was holding his flat-screen television, but dropped it when he was confronted.
He fled the house as the resident fired twice at him with a .40-caliber handgun. No injuries were reported, and the suspect has not been apprehended.
