ST. LOUIS | A family from St. Louis has come forward to claim a $5.5 million Missouri Lotto jackpot from the April 14 drawing.

The Missouri Lottery says retirees 70-year-old Louis Nowak and his 66-year-old wife, Joyce, will share the winnings with their three grown children, Caroline Bertani and Pamela Reckamp of St. Louis and Andrew Nowak of Los Angeles.

Joyce Nowak bought the ticket at a Shop 'n Save store in Maplewood. The winning numbers were 11, 23, 28, 34, 36 and 43.

The Lottery has sold 297 winning tickets worth $1 million or more since it began in 1986.
