Kansas State makes NCAA baseball field

Until last year Kansas State had never been to the NCAA baseball tournament. Now, the Wildcats are regulars.

K-State was selected as an at-large team for the 64-team field and will open play Friday in Fayetteville, Ark.

The third-seeded Wildcats, 36-20, will face second-seeded Washington State. Top-seeded Arkansas faces fourth-seeded Grambling in the other opening game of the double-elimination event.
