Search for Kanza Bank robber continues

WICHITA — Authorities are still looking for the man who robbed the Kanza Bank branch near 21st and Greenwich Road on Friday morning.

The suspect is a white man in his 20s, who walked into the branch at 2233 N. Greenwich Road at 10:36 a.m. Friday and demanded money from a teller.

The money was placed into a white Wal-Mart bag, and the man left. He drove off in a white Chevy Tahoe that turned out to be stolen and was found abandoned at Greenwich Road and 26th Street North.

He is 5-feet-10 or 5-feet-11 with a thin build, police said. He was wearing a red windbreaker with the hood pulled up, sunglasses, blue jeans and white gloves.
