Police release photos of suspect in Kanza Bank robbery

WICHITA — The Kanza Bank near 21st and Greenwich Road was robbed this morning, authorities reported.

A white man in his 20s walked into the branch at 2233 N. Greenwich Road at 10:36 a.m., and demanded money from a teller.

The money was placed into a white Wal-Mart bag, authorities said.

He is 5-feet-10 or 5-feet-11 with a thin build, police said. He was wearing a red windbreaker with the hood pulled up, sunglasses, blue jeans and white gloves. He left in a white Chevy Tahoe, which was found abandoned shortly after 11 a.m. at Greenwich Road and 26th Street North.
