Three Hutchinson homicide suspects appear in court

Three suspects linked to the murder of a Hutchinson man over the weekend appeared in Reno County District Court today.

Hutchinson police detectives said 26-year-old Anthony Waller and 28-year-old Jose Delacruz have been charged with first-degree murder and robbery in connection with the death of 33-year-old Joshua Haines.

Vasie Joe Coons, 35, faces a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, Hutchinson police Lt. Clay Rothe said.

Haines was found dead in his vehicle Saturday afternoon in the 1500 block of Baker Street. An autopsy showed he had been killed by multiple blunt force trauma.
