Board of Healing Arts chooses new director

Kathleen Selzer Lippert has been recommended as the next executive director of the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.

The board made the recommendation at its regular meeting today. It will be forwarded to the Kansas Senate for the confirmation process.

Lippert has been interim director of the board since late October. She would replace Jack Confer, who resigned from the board in October.

Lippert has been with the board since 2005 as a litigation attorney. Previously, she worked for the Shawnee and Atchison County attorney offices. She graduated from Northeast Missouri State with a bachelor's in business administration and received her law degree from Drake University.
