Lance and Jennifer Morrisett of Haven are the parents of Kansas' newest set of quadruplets, born Monday at a Phoenix hospital.
The babies — three boys and a girl — set a combined weight record for John Elliott, an Arizona doctor dubbed the "King of Quads," who delivered them. The babies weighed 20 pounds, 7 ounces altogether.
The babies are named Emma Elizabeth, Kaden Zachary, Lane Dalston and Bennett Grant. Emma, the smallest, weighed 4 pounds, 9 ounces; Lane, the largest, weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces.
In a statement released today by Banner Good Samaritan, part of Phoenix Children's Hospital, Elliott said the Morrisetts' journey was "medically perfect." The babies were born six weeks early.

"For a mom of four babies to get to 34 weeks without having to go into the hospital for bed rest prior to the pregnancy is quite a success," Elliott said.
