Republican congressional debate to be held at Word of Life Ministries

The location from this evening's debate among the five Republican candidates in the race for the Kansas 4th Congressional District has changed.

The public debate will take place at Word of Life Ministries, 3811 N. Meridian, instead of in the Bank of America building as reported in this morning's Eagle.

The debate will be held from 7 to 8:30 tonight.

The candidates are state senators Dick Kelsey and Jean Schodorf, and businessmen Jim Anderson, Wink Hartman and Mike Pompeo. They are seeking the spot to be vacated by Todd Tiahrt, who is running for the U.S. Senate.

The event is sponsored by the Great American Forum, the Sedgwick County Republican Party and the Wichita State College Republicans.
