A 2-year-old girl who was critically injured in an overnight crash south of Wichita has died at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus.
Sedgwick County Sheriff's Capt. George Mason said the accident occurred at 11:52 p.m. Monday when a 33-year-old woman who was driving on 63rd Street South slid into a concrete railing leading up to a bridge at Meridian.
The woman was in serious condition, the hospital said. A passenger, the 3-year-old sister of the girl who was killed, was in good condition.
