Police were called to an apartment complex in the 2600 block of West Ninth Street about 3 a.m. Saturday after a woman was dragged into a neighbor's apartment, punched and kicked and had a gun held to her head, police said.
Her attacker, a 24-year-old man, fired some shots to scare the woman, but she was not shot police said.
The victim told police that the man thinks she was involved in a burglary at his apartment.
Police were looking for the man on Saturday.
